Tasting Notes:

Nose: Lemon zest and barley sugar at first, followed by vanilla pod, honeycomb and warm coastal air. Notes of beeswax, grilled pineapple and a gentle wisp of bonfire smoke add depth.

Palate: Full-bodied and vibrant at cask strength. Sweet malt, salted caramel and citrus oils meet flavours of ripe orchard fruits, toasted oak and a subtle mineral edge. Soft peat smoke weaves through the palate alongside hints of white pepper and ginger.

Finish: Long, warming and coastal. Lingering notes of lemon peel, vanilla cream, sea salt, embers and gently drying oak spice fade slowly, inviting another sip.

About the Distillery:

Ardnamurchan Distillery, located at Glenbeg on the remote Ardnamurchan peninsula in the Western Highlands, began production in 2014 and is widely regarded as one of Scotland’s ‘greenest’ distilleries. Powered by local renewable energy and drawing water from nearby springs, the distillery produces both peated and unpeated spirit, matured on site in a carefully selected mix of bourbon, sherry and specialty casks.
