Sales Advisor (Permanent / Full-time)
We are looking for a Permanent / Full-time Sales Advisor who will be joining the team at our specialist whisky shop on Castle Street, Inverness City Centre.

The ideal candidate would have relevant retail sales experience and interest in whisky. Knowledge on whisky is not a must (but definitely a plus!). We have an ongoing internal training programme and whisky tasting sessions for our team members in order to improve their whisky knowledge. Working at a whisky shop is a great opportunity for the individuals who want to improve their whisky knowledge and start building a career in whisky industry.

Like all other independent small businesses, our team work hard at Highland Whisky Shop. So we are looking for a reliable and hard-working person for this role.

We always aim to provide a high quality service to all our customers. So relevant experience at retail stores which provide similar level of high quality customer service is a plus too.

Full-time (40 hours per week) during weekdays and weekends.

What You'll Be Doing on a Daily Basis

- Helping customers making decision to purchase a bottle of whisky (or gin!)

- Operating the till / managing the cash

- Stock handling; sorting out deliveries from suppliers, restocking and organising product displays, shelves and storage

- Packaging in-store purchases and online orders

- Keeping the shop nice and clean and polishing the bottles and other products on display

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary: £12 per hour + Performance Bonus

Experience: Minimum 3 years in relevant retail sales (required)

Licence/Certification: Personal License (preferred)
