ABERFELDY 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl 40%
Aberfeldy 12 Year Old is the flagship expression from Aberfeldy Distillery, affectionately known as “The Golden Dram” thanks to the alluvial gold once found in the nearby Pitilie Burn. This approachable Highland single malt is matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry, refill and re-char casks, creating a classic honeyed style with layers of vanilla, citrus and gentle spice. Bottled at 40%, it’s a smooth, easy-drinking dram that works beautifully neat, with a splash of water, or as a rich base for a whisky highball.

About the Distillery:
Aberfeldy Distillery was built by John Dewar & Sons in 1896 on the outskirts of the town of Aberfeldy in Perthshire, drawing its water from the nearby Pitilie Burn, famed for its deposits of alluvial gold. Originally created as the heart of Dewar’s blended Scotch, Aberfeldy has since earned a strong reputation as a single malt in its own right. Known as “The Golden Dram”, Aberfeldy is celebrated for its honeyed, fruit-forward character, typically developed through maturation in a variety of cask types that bring notes of orange, honey, vanilla and gentle spice, with a soft, approachable profile that still offers plenty of Highland character.
