Tasting Notes:

Nose: A bold, savoury opening of cured meat, barbecued beef jerky, clove and mint. Notes of iodine, oxo cube and tinned prunes reflect the depth of Oloroso maturation, while hints of lobster creels bring the classic maritime edge of Springbank.

Palate: The peaty character becomes more pronounced, with sooty kiln smoke and tobacco leaf leading the way. Rich flavours of prunes, figs, walnuts, Demerara sugar, cocoa powder and smoked meats create a dense, viscous and layered profile.

Finish: Long, evolving and gently smoky. Notes of soot, leather and walnuts persist, easing gradually like the receding tide across Kintyre’s pebble shores.
