This limited-edition Hazelburn 8 Year Old showcases the unpeated, triple-distilled style of Springbank Distillery in a rich sherry-forward profile. Distilled in February 2017 and bottled in March 2025, this release has been matured exclusively in 100% Oloroso sherry casks, creating a beautifully layered whisky that balances Hazelburn’s natural elegance with the depth, sweetness and spice of full sherry maturation. Bottled at 48.2% and produced entirely on-site at Springbank, this limited release highlights a harmonious interplay of fruit, malt and gentle oak, offering a refined and expressive interpretation of Campbeltown’s lighter whisky style.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Soft dried fruits, sultanas and stewed plums supported by warm caramel, honeyed malt and subtle cocoa. Gentle notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and dried orange peel develop with time.

Palate: Silky and rounded, with flavours of raisin loaf, toffee, dark berries and sweet sherry syrup. Hazelburn’s triple-distilled purity brings brightness to deeper notes of chocolate, soft oak spice and toasted caramel.

Finish: Long, sweet and gently spiced. Lingering notes of dried fruits, cocoa powder, warm oak and syrupy sweetness fade gracefully, leaving a refined sherry-led impression.
