Tasting Notes:

Nose: Elegant peat smoke rises alongside aromas of grilled citrus, vanilla pod and baked orchard fruits. Honeycomb, toasted barley and gentle sea spray are complemented by subtle floral notes, cracked black pepper and warming oak spice.

Palate: Rich, oily and wonderfully textured. Sweet malt, salted caramel and ripe stone fruits are layered with lemon zest, toasted almonds and creamy vanilla. Torabhaig's signature maritime peat builds steadily, bringing earthy smoke, mineral notes and gentle pepper spice while remaining beautifully integrated.

Finish: Long, warming and beautifully balanced. Lingering notes of soft peat embers, honeyed malt, citrus oils and coastal salinity gradually fade into toasted oak and delicate baking spices.

Founded in 2017, Torabhaig Distillery is one of only two licensed single malt distilleries on the Isle of Skye. Built within a beautifully restored 19th-century farm steading, the distillery combines traditional craftsmanship with a meticulous focus on creating its signature "well-tempered peat" style. Long fermentation times, slow distillation in traditional copper pot stills and maturation in Skye's rugged maritime climate produce a spirit that balances elegant peat smoke with remarkable fruitiness and complexity.
