Tasting Notes:

Nose: Deep and aromatic with waves of sherried oak, dark chocolate and sultanas. Notes of orange oil, toasted almonds, cinnamon porridge and soft leather add warmth and sophistication.

Palate: Rich, silky and beautifully structured. A fruitcake-like sweetness of plump raisins, candied orange and stewed figs is balanced by honeyed malt, nutmeg spice, cocoa and polished oak.

Finish: Long, warming and elegant, with lingering oak spice, sherry-soaked fruits, gentle chocolate bitterness and a final lift of citrus sweetness.

Tamdhu Distillery was founded in 1897 on the banks of the River Spey, designed by famed distillery architect Charles C. Doig. Located near Knockando in the heart of Speyside, Tamdhu is celebrated for its singular focus on 100% Oloroso sherry cask maturation.
