Distilled in July 2015 and bottled in October 2025, this limited release was matured for four years in refill bourbon hogsheads, followed by six years in fresh American oak Fino sherry hogsheads. The result is a beautifully layered single malt that unites Springbank’s oily maritime character with the crisp, saline dryness of Fino sherry. Bottled at natural cask strength, 55.0%, and crafted entirely on-site at Springbank Distillery, this bottling exemplifies the traditional methods and exceptional quality for which Springbank is revered.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Sea spray, lemon zest and mineral peat are joined by green apples, toasted almonds and vanilla. Dry Fino sherry nuances of salted nuts, fresh flor and lean oak add refinement and brightness.

Palate: Vibrant and full-bodied. Sweet malt, citrus oil and coastal smoke lead into flavours of white peach, lemon curd, roasted hazelnut and subtle maritime salinity. The Fino cask influence provides crisp structure and dry elegance.

Finish: Long, clean and coastal. Notes of drying peat smoke, nutty sherry, citrus zest and warming oak spice linger gracefully.
