SCAPA 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl 40% - Old Bottling

A rare and increasingly sought-after expression from the Scapa Distillery on Orkney, Scapa 14 Year Old is a discontinued bottling that has become difficult to find on today’s market. Celebrated for its gentle, honeyed sweetness and smooth island character, this old-style Scapa showcases the softer side of Orkney whisky — delicate, refined and beautifully balanced. Matured for 14 years and bottled at 40%, it remains a favourite among collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate its elegant profile and its place in the distillery’s earlier range.

About the Distillery:

Located on the rugged island of Orkney, Scapa Distillery was founded in 1885 and is known for producing some of Scotland’s gentlest and most approachable island single malts. Unlike its famously smoky neighbour, Scapa is celebrated for its unpeated spirit, long fermentations and smooth, honeyed character. The distillery’s coastal location lends subtle maritime notes to the whisky, while its traditional production methods create a refined and fruit-forward style. Though modest in scale, Scapa has earned a loyal following for its elegant, understated expressions — many of which, like the 14 Year Old, have now become prized by collectors.
