Nose: Fresh orchard fruits and lemon zest mingle with honeyed barley, vanilla and sweet pastry. Notes of ripe pear, green apple and caramel develop alongside gentle floral aromas and warming spice.
Palate: Powerful and richly textured at cask strength, with sweet malt, baked apple and juicy pear complemented by honey, vanilla and citrus oils. Warming ginger and pepper build gradually alongside caramel and gently toasted oak.
Finish: Long and warming, with lingering honeyed malt, citrus and orchard fruits followed by vanilla, peppery spice and gently drying oak.
