Released in early 2022, this limited first edition introduces the distillery’s signature field-to-glass style, crafted entirely on their family-owned farm in Ayrshire. Distilled from barley grown on-site and matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, it showcases a fresh, fruity and characterful Lowland profile. Bottled at 46%, non chill-filtered and with natural colour, this first release represents an important milestone in Lochlea’s emerging whisky journey.

Nose: Fresh orchard fruits, vanilla custard and soft barley sugar. Notes of apples, pears and gentle spice develop with time in the glass.
Palate: Smooth and vibrant. Flavours of peach, honeyed malt, creamy vanilla and light toffee mingle with citrus zest and subtle oak spice.
Finish: Clean, fruity and lightly warming, with lingering malt sweetness and soft, elegant spice.
