Non chill-filtered and with natural colour, Batch 3 highlights Lochlea's commitment to producing whisky entirely from barley grown on the family farm in Ayrshire.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Rich aromas of dark berries, raisin loaf and milk chocolate are lifted by orange zest and honeyed malt. Subtle wisps of coastal smoke intertwine with cinnamon, toasted oak and roasted almonds.

Palate: Powerful yet beautifully balanced. Layers of stewed fruits, toffee and treacle combine with dark chocolate, baking spices and sweet vanilla. The ex-Islay casks contribute delicate notes of earthy peat smoke and maritime salinity, adding complexity without overwhelming the spirit's vibrant fruit character.

Finish: Long, warming and satisfying. Lingering flavours of dried fruits, cocoa, gentle peat smoke, toasted oak and soft spice gradually fade into a rich, malty sweetness.
