About the Distillery:
Built on the site of the historic Lindores Abbey in Fife, widely recognised as the spiritual home of Scotch whisky following the first written reference to whisky production in 1494, Lindores Abbey Distillery combines centuries of heritage with modern craftsmanship. Production began in 2017 using locally grown barley, long fermentation times and carefully selected casks to create an elegant, fruit-forward spirit. The distillery has quickly earned a reputation for its thoughtful approach to cask maturation, balancing innovation with tradition while honouring the remarkable whisky-making legacy of this historic site.
