Bottled at 46%, non chill-filtered and natural in colour, this edition delivers a bold interplay of campfire smoke, coastal character and deep, jammy red fruit notes, while remaining unmistakably Kilchoman.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: An opening note of intense campfire smoke balanced with ripe summer stone fruits — peach, plum and cherry. Deep notes of marzipan become the focus, combined with layered maritime character.

Palate: The red wine vatting brings pepper and spice on the first sip. Dry, salty peat smoke sits firmly on the palate, while fruit notes of apricot and lemon push through the smoke.

Finish: Long and evolving, with a hot, spicy character from the marriage in Portuguese red wine vats. Stewed, cooked fruit notes add a sweet jam-like profile, providing ongoing sweetness that the classic Kilchoman smoke balances beautifully.

About the Distillery:

Founded in 2005, Kilchoman Distillery is an independent, family-owned farm distillery located on the west coast of Islay. Uniquely, Kilchoman grows a portion of its own barley, malts it on traditional floor maltings and carries out every stage of production on site, from mash to bottling.
