GLENALLACHIE 35 Year Old (2024 Release) Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl 48%

An extraordinary example of long-aged Speyside whisky, the GlenAllachie 35 Year Old (2024 Release) has been crafted from a handful of the rarest casks held in the distillery’s traditional dunnage warehouses. Hand-selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker, these exceptional casks have spent over three and a half decades maturing beneath the slopes of Ben Rinnes, developing profound depth, elegance and complexity. Bottled at 48%, non chill-filtered and at natural colour, this ultra-limited expression embodies the pinnacle of GlenAllachie Distillery’s patient, flavour-driven approach to whisky making.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: A deeply expressive nose of rich dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans and treacle, supported by layers of dried figs, raisins and polished oak. Subtle tones of cinnamon, nutmeg and honeyed malt add warmth and refinement.

Palate: Luxuriously silky and full-bodied. Waves of sherry-soaked fruits, cocoa, molasses and sweet spice unfold gracefully, balanced by orange peel, toasted almonds and gentle oak tannins. The decades-long maturation produces exceptional harmony and depth of flavour.

Finish: Long, warming and wonderfully composed. Notes of dark berries, bitter chocolate, soft spice and mature oak linger, delivering a rich and profoundly satisfying conclusion befitting its rare age.
