Tasting Notes:

Nose: Deep and inviting with rich dried fruits — raisin, fig and dark cherry — layered with orange peel, honeyed malt and nutty chocolate. Hints of cinnamon, clove and polished oak add warmth and depth.

Palate: Silky and full-bodied. Stewed plums, sultanas and sherry-soaked fruitcake meld with toffee sweetness, roasted almonds and dark cocoa. Warming spice builds gently, balanced by Tamdhu’s bright Speyside fruit character.

Finish: Long, smooth and rewarding, with lingering notes of dried fruit, mocha, oak spice and a soft, honeyed sweetness.

Tamdhu Distillery was founded in 1897 on the banks of the River Spey, designed by famed distillery architect Charles C. Doig.
