THE BALVENIE Portwood 21 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl 40%

The Balvenie PortWood 21 Year Old is one of the distillery’s most elegant and refined expressions, showcasing a masterful marriage of long maturation and exceptional cask finishing. Aged for over two decades in traditional American oak whisky casks, the spirit is then transferred to carefully selected port pipes for a further finishing period. This process enriches the whisky with layers of fruit sweetness, nuttiness and elegant spice, while preserving Balvenie’s signature honeyed depth. Bottled at 40% and non chill-filtered, PortWood 21 continues to be celebrated as a benchmark for refined, cask-finished Speyside whisky.

About the Distillery:

Founded in 1892 by William Grant in Dufftown, Balvenie Distillery is renowned for its dedication to traditional craftsmanship, maintaining practices that are now rare in the Scotch whisky industry. The distillery grows a portion of its own barley, operates traditional floor maltings, employs a team of in-house coopers and houses its own coppersmiths — ensuring quality and character at every stage of production. Balvenie whiskies are celebrated for their rich, honeyed sweetness, elegant spice and gentle complexity, with a focus on craftsmanship that makes the distillery one of Speyside’s most respected and beloved names.
