Matured entirely in Oloroso Sherry casks and bottled at a generous 51.4%, the whisky showcases the rich, full-bodied style for which Glenfarclas has become renowned. Expect layers of mature Sherry character, dried fruits, rich sweetness and warming spice, balanced by the depth and structure of traditional Speyside single malt. A fitting celebration of almost two centuries of Glenfarclas whisky making and the Grant family's stewardship of the distillery since 1865.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Rich and inviting with aromas of raisins, sultanas and dried figs alongside orange peel, dark honey and rich fruit cake. Layers of toasted nuts, cinnamon and polished oak develop with time in the glass.

Palate: Full-bodied and beautifully rich, with dried fruits, dates and raisins complemented by dark chocolate, treacle and orange marmalade. Roasted nuts and sweet malt are joined by cinnamon, nutmeg and warming Sherry-soaked oak.

Finish: Long, warming and satisfyingly rich, with lingering dried fruits, dark chocolate and sweet spice followed by orange peel, toasted nuts and mature oak.
