Tasting Notes:

Nose: Rich aromas of stewed apples, pear compote and dried apricot, layered with vanilla fudge and honey. Beneath the fruit sit notes of toasted barley, warm oak, soft peat smoke and a hint of cinnamon and clove.

Palate: Full-bodied and mouth-coating at cask strength. Waves of sweet malt, toffee and orange marmalade give way to ripe stone fruits, dark chocolate and roasted nuts. Peppery spice, charred oak and a gentle savoury smokiness build with each sip, while a touch of citrus zest keeps things lively.

Finish: Long, warming and satisfying. Lingering notes of malted cereal, cocoa, dried fruits and softly glowing peat smoke, with a subtle dryness from the oak.
