Nose: Fresh orchard fruits and vanilla custard drift alongside soft honey and malt. Gentle wisps of peat smoke add depth without overpowering, complemented by notes of toasted oak, lemon zest and warm pastry.
Palate: Smooth, rounded and beautifully balanced at 50%. Creamy vanilla, pear and baked apple lead, followed by sweet malt, light citrus and a touch of salted caramel. The influence of ex-peated casks brings a subtle, earthy smokiness that intertwines harmoniously with bourbon-led sweetness.
Finish: Long, elegant and lightly smoky. Lingering notes of honeycomb, vanilla cream, soft spice, toasted oak and a final hint of warm embers.
About the Distillery:
Founded on the historic Ballindalloch Estate in Speyside, Ballindalloch Distillery is a rare example of a true single estate distillery. Built with a focus on tradition, craftsmanship and complete provenance, the distillery grows its own barley on the estate, operates long fermentation times and distils slowly using traditional worm tubs to create a rich, elegant and characterful Speyside spirit. Family-owned and proudly small in scale, Ballindalloch Distillery is dedicated to producing whisky of exceptional quality with full traceability from field to bottle, embodying the heritage and agricultural roots of the estate.
