First distilled in 1973, Longrow is produced using malt dried over peat for up to 48 hours, giving it a rich, old-style smokiness that differs markedly from Islay peat. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, this whisky balances robust smoke with maritime character, sweet malt and gentle oak influence. Bottled at 46%, non chill-filtered and natural in colour, Longrow Peated is a bold yet beautifully balanced introduction to the smoky side of Campbeltown.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: A savoury, smoky opening with notes of earthy peat, coastal breeze and maritime salt. Hints of orchard fruit, vanilla cream, charred driftwood and warm malt add depth and sweetness.
Palate: Rich, oily and boldly peated. Flavours of smoked barley, peppered oak, brine and cured meats merge with sweet malt loaf, dried citrus and subtle sherry undertones. The smoke is earthy, rustic and intensely Campbeltown in style.
Finish: Long, warming and smoky. Lingering notes of kiln smoke, sea spray, cracked black pepper and gentle sweetness fade slowly, leaving a deep, satisfying maritime impression.
