Tasting Notes:

Nose: Dark, nutty Spanish oak opens the aroma, followed by creamy vanilla, melting honeycomb and rich dried fruits. Hints of cinnamon, clove and orange peel add warmth and lift.

Palate: Full-bodied and vibrant. Summer berries, candied lemon peel and rich sherry sweetness unfold across the palate, supported by praline, soft oak spice and honeyed malt depth.

Finish: Long, mouth-watering and sherried, with polished oak, warming spice and lingering notes of ripe figs and citrus zest.

About the Distillery:

Tamdhu Distillery was founded in 1897 on the banks of the River Spey, designed by famed distillery architect Charles C. Doig. Located near Knockando in the heart of Speyside, Tamdhu is celebrated for its singular focus on 100% Oloroso sherry cask maturation.
