SPRINGBANK 10 Year Old Local Barley (2025 Release) Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl 55.2% - ONE BOTTLE PER HOUSEHOLD
The 2025 release of Springbank 10 Year Old Local Barley continues one of the distillery’s most beloved and sought-after traditions — a whisky distilled entirely from locally grown Campbeltown barley. Produced using traditional floor maltings and Springbank’s fully hands-on distillation process, this expression captures the authentic character of the region’s historic whisky-making heritage.
Made from Bere barley grown at Clochkiel Farm, distilled in July 2025, and bottled in October 2025, this limited release is a celebration of provenance, craftsmanship and Springbank’s iconic oily, maritime style. Matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 55.2%, the 2025 edition is vibrant, textural and beautifully balanced. With an outturn of just 8,000 bottles, it is a highly collectible entry in the Local Barley series.

Palate: Creamy vanilla deepens into flavours of sweet, soft Victoria sponge. Hints of honey, light syrup and fresh barley water provide balance, carried by Springbank’s signature oily texture and subtle peat influence.
Finish: Light, sweet and gently maritime. Notes of salted caramel linger, bringing this Local Barley release to a warm and graceful conclusion.
About the Distillery:
Founded in 1828, Springbank Distillery is one of Scotland’s most historic and traditional whisky producers, located in the small but legendary whisky town of Campbeltown. Family-owned for generations, Springbank is renowned for doing virtually everything on-site — from malting barley to bottling — using time-honoured methods that are rare in modern whisky production. Producing three distinct styles (Springbank, Longrow and Hazelburn), the distillery is celebrated for its richly complex, oily and characterful whiskies that reflect Campbeltown’s unique maritime climate and deep whisky heritage. Springbank remains one of the most respected and sought-after distilleries in the world.
