Tasting Notes:

Nose: Rich red berries, blackcurrant and plum compote wrapped in gentle coastal peat smoke. Notes of red wine-soaked oak, dark chocolate, vanilla and a hint of clove and cedar.

Palate: Strong and full-flavoured at cask strength. Black cherries, brambles and dried cranberries combine with sweet malt, toffee and a touch of liquorice. The Bordeaux cask adds firm oak tannins, warming spice and a vinous, jammy depth, balanced by savoury, earthy peat smoke and a little sea salt.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering dark fruits, cocoa, dry red wine notes, peppery spice and glowing embers of Hebridean peat.
