Lightly peated and matured using a mix of peated and unpeated spirit in three distinct cask types, it delivers the familiar Raasay balance of coastal smoke and rich dark fruit, turned up a notch in intensity. Bottled at 61.3%, non chill-filtered and natural in colour, this Hebridean single malt is a bold, characterful dram that showcases the island’s unique style in its purest form.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Lightly peated with rich dark fruit flavours straight away. Notes of sherried berries, blackcurrant and raisin mingle with lemon peel, apricot, honey and caramel. Hints of cinnamon, ginger and gentle coastal smoke sit underneath.

Palate: Full-bodied and powerful at cask strength. Layers of red wine richness, dark fruits and toffee come through, alongside woody spices, black pepper and milk chocolate. Salty peat smoke, vanilla cream and a touch of rye-like herbal spice add depth and complexity.

Finish: Long, warming and moreish. Toasted almonds, marmalade, lingering dark fruits and soft maritime peat smoke fade slowly, leaving sweet oak and gentle spice behind.
