LONGROW 21 Year Old (2023 Release) Peated Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl 46%
The Longrow 21 Year Old (2023 Release) represents one of the most mature and sought-after expressions of Springbank’s heavily peated, double-distilled whisky style. First distilled in 1973, Longrow is crafted using malt dried over peat for up to 48 hours, creating a distinctly earthy, oily and maritime style of smoke unique to Campbeltown.
This limited release has been matured in a carefully selected combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, allowing the whisky to develop profound depth, coastal character and rich layers of matured peat. Bottled at 46%, non chill-filtered and natural in colour, it offers a refined and deeply expressive balance of smoke, sweetness and aged complexity — a true highlight of the Longrow range.

Nose: Deep, mature peat smoke wrapped in polished oak, dried fruits and maritime salinity. Notes of vanilla, honeyed malt, leather and toasted nuts emerge, balanced by earthy Campbeltown smoke.
Palate: Rich, oily and layered. Flavours of smoked barley, salted caramel, roasted nuts and dark fruit compote blend with sweet vanilla, gentle spice and subtle sherry undertones. The peat is mellow, earthy and rounded from long maturation.
Finish: Long, warming and complex. Lingering notes of smouldering embers, dried fruit, leather, brine and seasoned oak fade slowly, showcasing the depth and elegance of two decades in cask.
About the Distillery:
Founded in 1828, Springbank Distillery is one of Scotland’s most historic and traditional whisky producers, located in the small but legendary whisky town of Campbeltown. Family-owned for generations, Springbank is renowned for doing virtually everything on-site — from malting barley to bottling — using time-honoured methods that are rare in modern whisky production. Producing three distinct styles (Springbank, Longrow and Hazelburn), the distillery is celebrated for its richly complex, oily and characterful whiskies that reflect Campbeltown’s unique maritime climate and deep whisky heritage. Longrow represents the heavily peated, double-distilled style, offering a smoky and robust counterpart to the distillery’s other ranges.
