About the Role:
We are looking for a Part-time / Seasonal Sales Advisor to join our team at our specialist whisky shop.
The ideal candidate will have relevant retail sales experience and an interest in whisky. Whisky knowledge is not essential, but it is certainly a plus. We provide ongoing internal training and whisky tasting sessions for our team members, making this a great opportunity for someone who would like to improve their whisky knowledge and begin building a career in the whisky industry.
As with any independent small business, our team works hard. We are therefore looking for reliable, enthusiastic, and hard-working individuals who take pride in providing excellent service.
We always aim to deliver a high-quality experience for every customer, so previous experience in a premium retail or customer-focused environment would be an advantage.
This is a part-time role of 20 hours per week, including both weekdays and weekends.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Helping customers choose whisky, gin, and other spirits
- Offering friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive customer service
- Operating the till and handling cash
- Receiving deliveries from suppliers
- Restocking shelves and organising product displays
- Keeping stockroom and storage areas tidy and well organised
- Packaging in-store purchases and online orders
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and presentable
- Polishing bottles and maintaining product displays

Salary: £13.45 per hour + performance bonus
