Tasting Notes:

On the nose, bursting with heather honey, vanilla and stewed fruit, with notes of liquorice, butterscotch and roasted nuts. On the palate, lashings of apricot, toffee and honeycomb, followed by hints of caramelised brown sugar, walnut and crème brûlée.

About Distillery:

GlenAllachie is one of Scotland's few independently-owned and managed distilleries, led by the legendary Master Distiller Billy Walker, who has an astonishing 50-year career in Scotch Whisky industry. The distillery is located at the heart of the Speyside whisky region, nestled at the foot of Ben Rinnes. Billy Walker acquired the distillery in October 2017 with a large amount of aging stock in on-site warehouses. The annual capacity of production is four million litres of alcohol, but it is reduced to 800,000 by the new management. The reason for this reduction is whisky maker Billy Walker's focus on developing the quality of GlenAllachie single malt brand by slowing down the production process.
