Tasting Notes:

Nose: Zesty orange oils and lemon peel at first, followed by apricot jam, honeycomb and a gentle sea-breeze salinity. Underneath sit notes of toasted walnuts, vanilla fudge, sultanas and a subtle wisp of earthy peat smoke.

Palate: Rich and mouth-filling at 52%. Flavours of marmalade on toast, grilled pineapple and juicy peach are balanced by toffee, hazelnut praline and a thread of mineral, coastal character. Gentle peat smoke, cracked black pepper and hints of dark chocolate add depth and structure.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering notes of candied citrus, wine-soaked dried fruits, sweet malt and glowing ember smoke, fading into soft oak spice and sea salt.

Ardnamurchan Distillery, located at Glenbeg on the remote Ardnamurchan peninsula in the Western Highlands, began production in 2014 and is widely regarded as one of Scotland’s ‘greenest’ distilleries.
