Lochlea is an independent, family-owned distillery in the heart of Ayrshire, Scotland. They grow their own barley, distil a unique spirit and mature all their casks on site. 'Ploughing Edition' is one of their small batch, seasonal releases of Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The fourth limited edition whisky, and the first smoky one, from Lochlea Distillery.
Tasting Notes:
A warming, smoky version of Lochlea's signature whisky. Boiled sweets, cooked apple and brazil nuts all interwined with a comforting haze of lingering peat.
